MUSIC IMAGERY & MUSIC THERAPY SERVICES
The use of music (and sound) between a client and therapist to evoke physical, mental, social, environmental and spiritual well-being has been practiced extensively in other cultures, but only came to the fore of the Western world in the second-half of the 20th Century. Music therapy is based in the belief that everyone can respond to music, no matter how ill or disabled, irrespective of age. The unique qualities of music as therapy can enhance communication, support, change, and enable people to live more resourcefully and creatively.
MUSIC IMAGERY

Music Imagery encompasses a range of music-centred forms of psychotherapy designed to help with emotional and psychological issues and support personal development. On this website, we describe 4 different methods which can be offered separately and sometimes integrated, depending on the client’s needs. Therapy is usually provided in a series of sessions to allow the process to unfold. They include the use of pre-recorded music, arts, and verbal dialogue.
